SEMA and AAPEX is here and we are ready to see all of the newest products and latest tech

For the first time in a long time we have some new member additions to our team. One of them I’ve had the pleasure of working with many times in the past. The other was new but came very recommended. Chris and Jason came on out and allowed us to tackle the coverage of both the SEMA and AAPEX Shows at once. I had never been able to do that before so this was fantastic. I cannot thank those guys enough for working together on this and for their great coverage.

This first day was Jason and I taking on both AAPEX and SEMA separately. The shots from AAPEX were done by me and Jason shot SEMA. It was pretty crazy coordinating everything at first but these guys are pros and we were able to work things out no problem. Being able exist and cover the show in different parts at the same time is the dream and I knew this was already going to be amazing.

Check out these pictures for peaks into some of the amazing products and cars from around the world. The amount of work that was put into these cars is second to none, and even up to the time that the day of doors opening some of these owners are still putting in work. The amount of hours and intensity put into these cars has to be into the tens of thousands at least. Some of these cars ship from around the planet and make their debuts here. Some people underplay it, and while it’s easy to be infatuated with all of the models it is the work that lies behind the builds and new products that really intrigues me.

This first day kicked off without a hitch and there was so much to see. So many stories to be heard and we are here to tell them and this is only the beginning.

I love seeing just how intense the modifying of cars can be. This Toyota GR86 is so modified that it doesn’t even look anything like it’s original self. But that is definitely the point. Photo by Jason Salvador
This wild Porsche definitely caught our eye and the eye of everyone that walked by it. So friggin’ wild. Photo by Jason Salvador
This wild BMW from the DNA Motoring booth was just incredible. From the widebody, to the wheels and all of the super sexy carbon bits, this one oozed sex appeal. Photo by Jason Salvador
And now for something completely different comes this super slick classic from the Velocity Restorations booth. This ’69 Chevelle is just plain stunning. With that grey pearly paint and slick body lines and incredible engine work also, it really is hard to not notice this car. Photo by Jason Salvador
This awesome Indy car driven by Scott McLaughlin. This is at the Astemo booth at AAPEX (Day 1)
Sweet Nascar stock car at the PB Blaster booth. This was at the AAPEX Show on Day 1
Castrol Ford Mustang Nascar car at the AAPEX Show on Day 1. So friggin’ cool
